Swemacimaging have been collaborating with Splitvision to develop the design identity and product innovation for their Biplanar mobile two-plane imaging systems.
To strengthen the position of the product on the market a design strategy was created to establish innovation areas which were then implemented in the new design.
The result was a new design identity which not only improved the function for the surgeon, but also improved the experience for the patient whilst in theatre.
Biplanar™
The latest generation of the Biplanar™ introduces flat detectors, a redesigned touchscreen user interface and a host of innovations that further improves the Biplanar™ concept. With an even broader range of possible applications, the new Biplanar™ stretches the surgical possibilities beyond traditional conventions.
